Reuse Your IA Bottles

Our goal at Island Apothecary is to create products that are good for our bodies and our environment. We do so by using organic and clean ingredients and making our products with the least amount of plastic possible opting for glass, metal tins and 100% recyclable cardboard. We get many questions from customers asking if we will take back bottles to reuse or refill. We’ve decided for many reasons to only offer refills in person on the island, it’s a great excuse to come out for a little vacation! Thankfully our products are all recyclable BUT if you’re a real enviro-MVP, here are some ways to reuse our containers in your everyday life plus easy recipes!

2 oz Spray Bottles | Toner, Salt Spray

Fill with water and use to spritz plants, succulents and cacti

Homemade Recipes for Spray Bottles
Room Freshener
Fill bottle with water and stir in:
2 T Baking Soda
25 drops essential oil

Yoga Mat Cleaner
1:4 Witch Hazel: Water
10-30 drops of essential oil

Bug Spray
1:1 Witch Hazel or Vodka : Water
60 drops of any combination of Citronella, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Peppermint,  Cedarwood, Eucalyptus, Thyme, Cinnamon, Chamomile

4 oz Bottles | Body Oil, Everyday Cleanser
